Project context
During the outdoor tour of Parc Vulcania, a designated spot provides a panoramic view of the Chaîne des Puys. By scanning the QR code on a poster located near an educational area, visitors can aim at a volcano on the horizon, and a park guide appears to narrate the history of the landscape. Through a drone ascent, the visitor is then positioned above the site, enjoying a stunning view of the current landscape.
By clicking on the dates displayed on the screen, visitors can explore the landscape through time, from its previous state to the formation of the volcanoes. This feature helps in understanding the types of volcanoes and their age.
On cloudy days, the experience reveals the chain shrouded in mist, which is otherwise invisible, and also allows visitors to share their discovery with friends after the park visit, thus promoting it.
