Project context
After years of development and various communications, the Saint-Jean district in Bordeaux continues to transform, bringing “Canopia” to life: the largest mixed-use project in France. This new 4-hectare urban district, located in the heart of Bordeaux, will connect the train station to the Garonne River via a 600-meter promenade avenue designed by architect Edouard François, culminating in the largest park on the left bank of the Garonne.
To help visitors and residents envision the district by the time construction is completed in 2027, Apsys and The Overlap Factory have created three interactive experiences. Displayed through highly visible communications, these experiences allow any smartphone user to immerse themselves fully in the future vision of the district, with this vision overlaying their current surroundings.
