Project context
Experience the stories of Gustave Eiffel with Overlap Reality® at four iconic locations on his eponymous Tower. This project provides visitors to the Eiffel Tower with a unique immersive journey through four interactive experiences, where Gustave Eiffel appears at their location via their smartphone to share intriguing anecdotes about the Tower, its history, and its construction.
Launched to mark the centenary of Gustave Eiffel’s death in 2023, this animation also unveils an imagined dialogue between Claire Eiffel, his daughter, and Thomas Edison, both immortalized in the engineer’s office on the top floor. Suddenly, the wax figures come to life, offering an unprecedented historical encounter.
